It can be argued that Automatic Lighting and other security lighting systems fail to act as much of a deterrent as the trespasser has already crossed the properties boundaries by the time the Passive Infra-Red sensors have detected movement and activated a lighting system.

At ASC we still believe that it is better to have some form of security lighting than not. Not only does it create peace of mind, but the presence of lighting or CCTV makes people aware that the building is being carefully monitored.
